About
Maybe the concentrates that used to feel like a choice are starting to feel more like a routine you can't step out of. Your sleep is off. Your motivation feels flat. And you've noticed you're using more than you'd admit to most people. You're not in crisis — you're just ready to see if something could shift.
The University of Colorado Boulder is looking for adults who use cannabis concentrates — things like wax, budder, THC oil, or hash — and want to cut back or stop. The study is run through the Center for Health and Neuroscience, Genes and Environment (CHANGE) Lab on the CU Boulder campus. You will have both in-person visits at the lab and remote check-ins you can do from home over about 8 weeks.
This is a research study, not a treatment program. Your information is kept private — it is not shared with your school, your employer, or anyone outside the research team. It is also protected by a federal Certificate of Confidentiality, which means the research team cannot be forced to share your data with anyone, including law enforcement. Eligible participants may receive compensation for time and travel, prorated across study visits.
